El Paso hit a record high today of 99. Hottest ever this late in the year

Just one degree from our 71st triple of the year. El Paso records another record high - just shy of 100 degrees.

Some showers and storms are expected tonight and again tomorrow. Some heavy pockets of rain in spots along with some gusty winds up to 35 mph. We cannot rule out small hail with some isolated storms.
