ABC-7 First Alert Continues

Showers and a few thunderstorms hit the El Paso area tonight bringing much-needed rain to the area. The El Paso airport picked up just shy of .40". Showers will continue off and on tonight then clearing expected overnight.

Better weather for tomorrow with mostly sunny skies and a bit cooler temps.

We then focus our attention by issuing another ABC-7 First Alert on a potent cold front early next week. This cold front will lower our high temperatures to the low to mid 50's by Monday and Tuesday with some gusty winds around 30 mph making it feel just a bit cooler.
