ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Early Sunday morning storms moving through area as drier air moves through

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Tracking a few thunderstorms around El Paso late Saturday night into very early Sunday morning, but conditions quickly turning drier. Any storms that develop could bring brief, heavy downpours but quickly moving east.

Drier air moving into the Borderland Sunday and Monday, greatly reducing those storm chances. Temperatures tracking to climb back into the lower to middle 90s across the lowlands.

The big weather change arrives Tuesday as moisture quickly returns to the region, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms from Tuesday through Friday morning. Storms could continue into the nighttime hours as well.
