ABC-7 First Alert; Wind Advisory

El Paso, Texas-- We have issued an ABC-7 First Alert for today as a wind advisory has been issued for El Paso, Hudspeth and Otero counties. This morning we were tracking spotty showers around El Paso and temperatures in the 50s. Clouds will begin to clear later this morning and the winds will arrive by mid day. Sustained wind speeds ranging from 25-30 MPH and gusts of up to 40 MPH. East/Northeast El Paso will see the strongest of these winds. Wind advisory is set to expire by 7 p.m. today.
