It will be an unusual day for the month of March - our 2nd driest month of the year, on average. Rainfall will begin early Tuesday morning and continue off and on throughout the day. There will be some heavy pockets of rain so be prepared for some isolated flooding issues. Rainfall amounts could be anywhere from .25-.75". Snowfall will accumulated in the Sacramento mountains with amounts up to a foot in cloudcroft by Wednesday night and up to 5" in Ruidoso.

Sunshine will return Thursday and Friday with warming temps.
