After heavy rain set a new record of .83" of rainfall at the El Paso Airport, we have dried out quickly for Wednesday.

Expect the dry and average conditions to continue the next few days as that system tracks eastward bringing a severe weather threat to the Gulf Coast.

Temperatures will drop into the 30s and 40s tonight with mostly clear skies. Fog could develop after midnight with the cooler temperatures and mild winds. It will burn off by mid-morning as the sunshine takes over again. Mid to upper 60s for the next few days.

By Saturday temperatures will climb into the 70s before our next rain chance moves in for Sunday.
