StormTRACK Weather: Triple digits for Father’s Day

AQ062020

El Paso, Texas- Expect hot temperatures and breezy conditions across the borderland for Father's Day. Unhealthy air quality will be in our forecast once again, for the wildfires in our area.

There will be patchy areas of smoke around, especially early in the day. That will make for hazy looking skies, but overall mostly sunny skies are expected. Doña Aña County has an Air Quality Alert in place until noon. Those who have respiratory issues should limit any outdoor activity.

El Paso will top off at 101 degrees for our afternoon high. West southwest winds from 5-15 MPH, gusts in the 20s.

Forecasting a high of 99 degrees, with west southwest winds from 5-15 MPH. Of course we can see wind gusts reach the 20-25 MPH category.

Temperatures get even hotter tomorrow, but we will see a weak cold front cool us down a few degrees for Tuesday. Increased rain chances will begin my midweek.
