El Paso, Texas- Westerly winds have pushed into the borderland. This will help fuel drier and warm conditions across the region.
El Paso will top off at 98 degrees for the high. West winds from 15-20 MPH with gusts around 35 MPH. East side of town will see the strongest of those wind gusts.
Las Cruces will top off at 94 degrees. West winds from 15-20 MPH with gusts around 35 MPH.
The morning started off mostly cloudy but will eventually turn into mainly clear skies. Fire weather warning is in effect for our west counties. Be mindful of any outdoor burning this afternoon.
