Welcomed rain hit the area Thursday with the heavier amounts in Columbus, Deming and Las Cruces. Only .02" was picked up at the El Paso Airport while the NE part of town accumulated .20".

Gradual clearing overnight with more sunshine tomorrow. The winds will be up a bit from the West at around 30-35 mph Friday.
