ABC-7 First Alert: Gusty winds return Sunday

El Paso, Texas- The spring pattern returns to the Borderland. We'll get a break from strong winds today, but gusty winds will return for Sunday. The biggest threat for tomorrow will be the increase in fire danger, blowing dust and strong winds.

Today however, winds will be from the west to southwest 5-15 MPH. Clear skies, dry conditions and temps warming to the lower-to-mid 80s.

Tomorrow winds will be from the west around 25-35 MPH, peak wind gusts right now are forecast to be 45-50 MPH. Remember to tie down any outdoor furniture, trampolines, loose objects to prevent property damage.

The winds, dry conditions and warm temperatures will increase fire danger.
