ABC-7 First Alert: Strong winds head to Borderland on Sunday

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A nice a quiet Saturday, but that won't last long: strong winds are headed to the Borderland.

Breezy conditions with partly cloudy skies on Saturday evening.

Come Sunday, winds could reach 45-50 mph causing blowing dust and sand, making visibility difficult. Northeast, east El Paso to experience the strongest winds. The Borderland will be under several advisories Sunday: Wind Advisory, Blowing Dust Advisory and a Red Flag Warning.

Monday winds die down slightly. Gusts could reach 20-25 mph.
