StormTRACK Weather: Storm chances towards the east, drier towards the west

El Paso, Texas- Saturday morning is feeling a little different than usual... I know you felt it. There's moisture in the air folks! Our dew points are in the 50s which means it's humid.

A southeast flow of winds will continue to filter in moist air into our area. This will help ignite thunderstorms towards the east in Hudspeth, Culberson and Otero Counties.

These storms could develop quickly and our main threats will be gusty winds, heavy rainfall at times and the possibility of hail. Keep that in mind if you have any travel plans this holiday weekend.

Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s this afternoon with plenty of sunshine for El Paso and Las Cruces.
