ABC-7 First Alert: Triple-digits in the Borderland, gusty conditions Sunday into Monday

EL PASO, Texas -- Temperatures will be heating up Sunday as the Borderland could see it's first triple-digit day of the year. Winds are also picking up with west winds 15 to 25 mph, gusts of up to 35 to 40 mph.

Winds are also picking up with west winds 15 to 25 mph. A wind advisory is in place starting at 9 p.m. Sunday until Monday at 3 a.m. with winds gusting at 35 to 45 mph.

Hazy conditions from smoke plus blowing dust and sand could limit visibility for drivers. Winds will also keep fire dangers high throughout Sunday evening.
