Storms hit Las Cruces and White Sands Wednesday afternoon and evening

Storms blew up in a hurry Wednesday afternoon slamming parts of Las Cruces and White Sands. Doppler rainfall estimates indicate rainfall that hit from that quick-moving storm dropped about .50 to 1" of rainfall. The storm quickly moved to the north.

There will continue to be slight chances for rain the rest of this week and weekend.
