ABC-7 First Alert: Storms pound parts of El Paso late Monday night.

The ABC-7 First Alert continued across the area as showers and storms hit El Paso and the lower valley Monday. The storms pushed in from the southeast during the evening and hit El Paso around 10:30. Lots of lightning could be seen as the storms rolled through town. Most reports indicated moderate to some heavy rain and gusty winds reaching around 35 mph.

Rain chances decrease Tuesday with about a 20-30% chance.
