ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Tracking near triples in the Borderland with low rain chances

Friday is finally here in the Borderland and we less than 12 hours away from UTEP football!!! Today's high was 99 in El Paso. We have been locked at 52 triple digit days since August 31st!

Tomorrow, we may see some isolated showers and thunderstorms in the Borderland and it will be around 100 degrees.

This weekend, high could potentially climb into the triple digits. A high pressure system will build over Far West Texas and New Mexico which will cause the above normal highs. This system is expected to move to the east which will heighten our rain chances this coming week.
