Socorro man arrested for allegedly shooting at homes and cars
SOCORRO, Texas -- A Socorro man has been arrested for allegedly shooting at homes and cars in the community, police said.
Ricardo Velasquez, 20, was arrested Friday on a charge of deadly conduct discharge of a firearm. He was jailed on a $50,000 bond.
Socorro police said the arrest stems from numerous "shots fired" calls they received back on Dec. 9 near the 300 block of Flor Bonita Avenue, where officers discovered several cars and homes had been shot at.
Authorities did not release a mugshot of Velasquez.
