ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Hot start to the week and T’storms chances

Hi all. It's been an active afternoon with some severe T'storms and flash flood warnings across the region. We will keep the storm chances in through the evening, but then, they'll slowly decrease. As always, expect some gusty winds, small hail, heavy downpours and lightning. Lightning can strike up to 10 miles away from the storm so be aware...if a storm is near you- the safest thing to do is head indoors.

Tomorrow, will we will have storm chances in, but with perhaps slightly less coverage. We'll keep those storm chances in through the rest of the week as well. Temperatures will be at or near 100 degrees for the start of the workweek, so make sure you are hydrating plenty, and staying cool out there. Enjoy!
