Beer shortage may be on the way

People have been met by toilet paper shortages, baby formula shortages, and even computer chip shortages. Now beer may be joining that list.
A shortage of aluminum cans and carbon dioxide could be the next supply chain issue. Brewers point out rising pries of malted barley and hops, as well as transportations as the causes.
Beer prices are up by 5% so far this year which is not as high as food costs which is up 11%. Beer drinkers may notice the variety and selection could be more limited than usual.
