UTEP’s Pustahija earns third C-USA Freshman of the Week award

DALLAS, Texas - Sara Pustahija earned the seventh 2022 Conference USA Volleyball Freshman of the Week honor presented by Blenders Eyewear on Monday by the league office.   

Pustahija named C-USA Freshman of the Week   

Pustahija earned her third C-USA Freshman of the Week award after she tallied 19 kills over five sets against No. 22 Rice on Saturday.

The freshman starter was the top player between the two teams in kills while hitting .372.

The native of Belgrade, Serbia, had an all-around performance putting up 21.0 points with two blocks, an ace and seven digs.
