Pittsburgh Panthers to face off against UCLA Bruins at Sun Bowl Stadium
EL PASO, Texas -- It's official; the Pittsburgh Panthers will face off against the UCLA Bruins at Sun Bowl Stadium at UTEP on December 30th at noon.
The announcement was made Tuesday at the Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino, where The Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl held a free event open to the public.
"We need you to help support the Sun Bowl, and not just for the Sun Bowl, but for the City itself. It's nationally televised, and we need to show the rest of the country how El Pasoans support their events," said Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl Executive Director Bernie Olivas.
