Man in critical condition after crashing into mailbox, RV

UPDATE: El Paso Police say a 22-year-old man is in critical condition at an area hospital after received life-threatening injuries.

According to Special Traffic Investigators, the man was eastbound on James Grant and speeding when he veered right and hit a brick mailbox then hit the back of a recreational vehicle that was parked in front of a home.

Three other vehicles were damaged by debris from the crash.

STI says speed is a contributing factor. They are waiting on the tests result to determine if alcohol was also a factor in the crash.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA)- One person was taken to the hospital after crashing into a parked RV Sunday morning.

It happened at George Dieter near James Grant Drive.

First responders tell ABC-7 that call in just before 2:30 am Sunday morning.

One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Special traffic investigators were called out to the scene.

No other information has been released at this time.
