Body of a man found just south of Van Horn

VAN HORN, Texas (KVIA) -- Culberson County Sheriff's Office is looking into a body that was found just south of Van Horn.

The remains are suspected to be the body of a migrant. Culberson County Sheriff's stated investigators believe the body may have been a 22 year-old from Mexico.

Border Patrol is assisting in the investigation.

The Sheriff's Office said this is the first body found in Culberson County in 2023.
