Viva! El Paso holding auditions for this season

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Viva! El Paso will be holding auditions for the 45th consecutive year.

The play showcases the magnificent history of the borderland.

Casting directors are looking for actors, singers, and dancers to be part of the 2023 season.

Auditions will be held at the Hotel Paso del Norte in Downtown El Paso on Saturday, April 22nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Individuals participating in the audition process are expected to sing, dance, and cold read from a script.

For actors, a short monologue is encouraged. Singers should also prepare a song and bring music sheet.

Dancers should wear comfortable performance attire. Choreography will be taught for dancers.

Participants need to bring a photo I.D., social security card, headshot, and a resume of past performances. Performers must be 16 years and older.
