The House Judiciary Committee subpoenas federal agencies over censorship concerns

The House Judiciary Committee is escalating its investigation into the Federal Government's alleged role in first amendment censorship.

The committee sent subpoenas to three agencies: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and the Global Engagement Center.

Republican representative Jim Jordan, has long accused the Federal Government and big tech companies of working together against conservatives.

The subpoena letters do not list any specific allegations the committee is investigating but raises the concern over censorship more broadly. The subpoenas set a document deadline of May 22 for a broad request of information and communications.
