Aerosmith to ‘Peace Out’ after 50 years with farewell tour

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Aerosmith is ready to "walk this way" right off the stage and into retirement. After 50 years, the band says it's time to end its legendary career. The "Peace Out" farewell tour will feature special guests The Black Crowes.

Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer will not be on the tour. The band says he's stepping back so he can focus on his family and health.

Aerosmith will 40 times on the tour, which kicks off in Philadelphia September 2, 2023. Three concert dates were announced for Texas: October 23 in Austin, November 1 in San Antonio, and November 7 in Dallas. The band will play in Phoenix December 10.

Tickets go on sale Friday morning.
