ABC-7’s new anchor honored by home town with ‘Paul Cicala Day’

TUCSON, Arizona (KVIA) -- Last month, ABC-7 announced that one-time sports anchor Paul Cicala would be returning to KVIA as co-main anchor.

Now, on his final day as sports anchor at a station in his home town of Tucson, Arizona, the mayor of Tucson is honoring Cicala by proclaiming today "Paul Cicala Day."

Mayor Regina Romero honored Cicala before his move back to El Paso. Congressman Raul Grijalva also presented him with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition. Both acknowledged Cicala's community involvement and volunteer work.

ABC-7 is excited to welcome Cicala back to the team this month.
