El Paso Man Sentenced To Death For ’91 Killing
EL PASO, TX. – A man is sentenced to death by lethal injection, fourteen years after the crime was committed. Friday, Judge Angie Barill of the 346th District Court issued the Execution order for Tom Ford.
32 year-old Mr. Ford was sentenced to death for a crime he committed when he was18 years-old Mr. Ford, along with an accomplice, forced their way into the Murillo home in East El Paso and demanded money, jewelry, and a vehicle.
Ford shot and killed 18-year-old Armando Murillo, the shot his sister, Lisa in the shoulder and their mother Myra was shot in the head. Mrs. Murillo is now in a wheelchair because of the injuries she sustained.
The execution date for Mr. Ford was set for Wednesday, December 7th.
