14-year-old girl dies after shooting at student party at El Paso Vrbo rental
Update: Socorro Independent School District officials tell ABC-7 that Worthington was a student at Pebble Hills High School. Hernandez graduated from Options High School.
Update September 20, 2023: El Paso Police now say that two people died as a result of the shooting. They identified the two victims as 19-year-old Eliel Omar Bultron Hernandez and 14-year-old Julia Worthington.
Police say that Worthington was hospitalized and died from her injuries on Tuesday.
"The investigation aimed to identify the rental platform used for the property in question, and after thorough examination, Vrbo emerged as the provider," a police spokesperson stated. "This new information adds another layer to the ongoing investigation, potentially impacting the scope of inquiries and potential leads."
Police are investigating this as a capital murder.
"The El Paso Police Department urges anyone with information to please come forward by contacting Crimes Against Persons detectives at 915-212-4040 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477 (TIPS) to remain anonymous."
Update: El Paso Police officers were called out to a house in the 12300 block of Tierra Inca Dr. in the Far East following reports of a house shooting.
When officers arrived, they found multiple people with gunshot wounds. A total of six people were wounded.
Authorities told ABC-7, a 19-year-old man died after being transported to a local hospital.
Another person suffered life threatening injuries and continues to recover in a local hospital.
Police said the other four victims are in stable condition. The additional victims' ages range from 17 to 18 years.
EPPD said the residence where the shooting happened was being rented out as by high school students for a Montwood High School Homecoming party.
Police said no suspects are in custody at this time.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- 6 people were shot at an "underage" house party in far east El Paso early Sunday morning, leaving one dead according to El Paso Police.
The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. at the 12300 block of Tierra Inca Drive, which isn't far from El Dorado High School.
El Paso Police says Crimes Against Persons is on scene investigating, and add the investigation will last "hours."
Officials say a 19-year-old man died as a result of his injuries he sustained during the shooting. Another person suffered "life-threatening injuries" according to police. The other victims suffered minor injuries.
