Las Cruces Police Make Arrest In Shooting Death
LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) – Las Cruces police have arrested a 28-year-old man in an early-morning shooting that left one man dead.
Police have charged Kenneth Sanchez of Las Cruces with an open count of murder. He’s being held without bond at the Dona Ana County Detention Center.
Police say 24-year-old Eugene “Gino” Marquez was shot multiple times around 12:40 am and died at the scene.
