WATCH: El Paso District Attorney holds press conference on Joseph Alvarez murder case
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso District Attorney Bill Hicks held a press conference Monday, to address and answer questions about the murder case in which Joseph Alvarez was convicted Friday.
Alvarez was sentenced to life in prison Monday for the murder of state attorney Georgette Kaufmann of El Paso. He was sentenced to an additional 20 years for the aggravated assault of Kaufmann's husband, Daniel Kaufmann.
