Lower Valley Water District Boil Water Notification

EL PASO, TX. – On August 1st, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required Lower Valley Water District officials to notify residents of the presence of contaminants in the water supply.

Only those customers located East of Horizon Blvd. and I-10 East to FM 1110 (Clint Exit) along I-10, as well as other customers located in Panorama Village at Horizon and I-10 and finally all of the customers in the Sparks subdivision North of I-10 were affected.

The LVWD has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels and bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that THE WATER NO LONGER REQUIRES BOILING.Residents may contact the Lower Valley Water District at: 915/791-4480 for further information.
