Bush To Visit Albuquerque Area For Domenici Fundraiser
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.(AP) – President Bush is coming to the Albuquerque area for a fundraiser for Republican U.S. Senator Pete Domenici.
Los Ranchos de Albuquerque Mayor Larry Abraham says he will host the fundraiser at his home on August 27th. He says he cannot release details. But he says it’s a historic moment for the village.
It will cost $1,000 per person to attend. And those who want a photo with the president must give $5,000. Domenici is up for re-election next year. The 75-year-old Domenici has been in the Senate since 1973.
