Wells Fargo Accounting Delays Upset Some Customers

EL PASO, TX. – Customers of Wells Fargo Bank say they’ve had problems with their accounts recently.

Several customers have toldABC-7 they didn’t have access to their accounts. The bank tells us they experienced a problem with their record system thatstarted on Sunday afternoon. Since then, some customers may have experienced issues such as unrecorded transactions.

Wells Fargo apologizes for the problem saying, “Our customers hold us to a high standard of trust and reliability, and we want to assure them that all data about their accounts has remained safe and secure throughout this disruption.”

One Wells Fargo teller that ABC-7 talked to advises holding on to your receipts from any transaction until you can confirm with the bank it’s been properly recorded.
