Child Of Wounded Iraq Veteran Dies After Rollover Crash

EL PASO, TX. – Officials have confirmed that the third child of a Fort Bliss soldier wounded in Iraq has died from injuries suffered in a rollover crash thelast week of October.

The two younger children of John Austin Johnson died immediately following the rollover crash of the family SUV. Their mother was driving them to visit their father at a San Antonio military hospital.

9-year-old Tyler Johnson suffered severe head injuries in the crash and was taken to a hospital in Dallas.

Officials said Tyler’s parents were going to make a decisionMonday morning about whether to keep him on life-support. Tyler died early Sunday afternoon.
