Australian Open 2024: The singles champions are Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — The first ever 15-day Australian Open ended with Jannik Sinner winning his first Grand Slam title with a comeback from two sets down to beat Daniil Medvedev for the championship on the third Sunday of the tournament. Aryna Sabalenka successfully defended her title with a straight-sets win over Zheng Qinwen in the the women’s final on Saturday.
