Rollover Crash Claims Third Teen’s Life
EL PASO — A third person has died from acrash that happened last monthon Paisanonear ShelterPlacein South-Central El Paso.
The incident happenedearly in the morning on Dec. 12, on Paisano Drive near Shelter Place, police said.
Police now say 17-year-old Ricardo Flores died as a reult of his injures while beingtreated at a local hospital
The two other people who were in the2001 Ford Focus were killed instantly. Police said 18-year-old Vicente Munoz was driving his car when he lost control, hitting awall androlling the vehicle.
Munoz and a passenger, 19-year-old Jorge Pineda, died on the scene.
Investigators said that although the three were wearing seatbelts, alcohol and speed appears to have contributed to the deaths. The investigation is ongoing.
