Biden tells California supporters to stay focused on what’s at stake in reelection battle

LOS ANGELES (AP) — President Joe Biden started a three-day swing through California, working to soak up more cash for his reelection bid. At his first fundraiser, he told supporters that his decades of experience in government has helped him better understand how to get things done. Biden’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee say they collected $42 million in contributions during January from 422,000 donors. Biden ended January with $130 million in cash on hand.
