Westside Water Main Rupture Near Mesa/Resler

EL PASO — A water main rupture on El Paso’s Westside just before noon Wednesday left several streets overrun with water, but no serious problems were reported by surrounding schools or businesses.

Classes at Coronaho High School continued as normal, with school officials saying that only a small amount of water pressure loss resulted. District officials added that the school schedule would continue without interruption.

Information from El Paso Water Utilities was still pending and will be available here as it is released.
