Three House Fire At Magoffin & Eucalyptus

EL PASO, Texas – Twelve fire-fighters responded to flames in a vacant building named CSR Electronics on Magoffin and Eucalyptus Saturday afternoon in South-Central El Paso.

Investigators say the fire started on the second floor of the building and that’s where it stayed.

Officials said the first unit responded within one minute of the call being sent out. They haven’t determined what caused the blaze.

”People party there sometimes”, neighbors said. The fire was put out shortly after 2:30 p.m.

“It is still under investigation. We do have an investigator taking a look, but we don’t have a report from him yet”, said Batallion Chief Ramon Valencia.

One fire fighter suffered from smoke inhalation. Officials said he was hurt while ventilating the building. There is not word on how he’s doing.
