Tuesday Morning Shooting Injures 1 In Northeast EP
EL PASO, TX – A shooting in northeast El Paso sent a man to the hospital just after 3:30 Tuesday morning.
ABC-7 has learned the victim is Christopher Nanos, 31. He lives at the house where the shooting occurred.
El Paso police say Nanos was home drinking alcohol when two of his friends got into a physical fight. Nanos tried to break up the fight but one of the men pulled out a gun and shot Nanos in the stomach.
The gunman left the house immediately and has not been seen since. Investigators say they are following his trail.
Nanos was taken to Beaumont Army Medical Center in serious condition but he is now listed in stable condition.
