ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Triple digit temps remain, light rain chances begin

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- We remain under an ABC-7 First Alert because of dangerously hot conditions.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for portions of El Paso County including Fort Hancock and Tornillo:

• Heat Advisory in effect from August 26, 11:00 AM MDT until August 26, 09:00 PM MDT

This morning we woke to warm temps and light breezy conditions. Temperatures 3were in the upper 70s to low 80s to start. Another round of triple digit temps will arrive through your lunchtime. El Paso is expected to reach a high of 104, Las Cruces 103.

Light rain chance enter our forecast at 10%. Rain chances will climb to 20% by Friday.
