31-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Ejected In Pickup Truck Rollover
A 31-year-old man died Saturday afternoon following arollover crashin Far East El Paso.
The crash happened shortly beforeone o’clockin the 13000 block of Gateway West Blvd.
According to investigators, Ivan Miguel Flores was driving a 2004 Nissan Titan pickup truck when it suddenly veered off the westbound lanes of I-10, rolling over several times and ending up on Gateway West.
The crash ejected Flores, who was found dead at the scene about 30 feet from the truck. At this time investigators are still trying to figure out why he lost control.
The crash forced the closure of parts of I-10 and Gateway West for several hours Saturday until about 4:30pm, when all lanes were reopened.
El Paso County Sheriff’s officials say autopsy and toxicology reports are pending on Flores, who was the only person inside the truck. Stay tuned to ABC-7 for any new information on this story.
