Body With Head, Hands Severed Found In Juarez Valley

EL PORVENIR, Chihuahua, Mexico– Chihuahua state police encountered a gruesome crime scene outside a school near the town of El Porvenir in the Juarez valley.

About 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, police found a gray plastic bag with another white and green bag inside. Inside that bag, they found a severed left hand, police officials said.

Investigators also found another gray plastic bag containing a human head. Between the bags they found a white poster board with a message written in black ink. The message was not disclosed.

To the west of the crime scene, a decapitated man’s body was found with a blue and gray striped blanket around it, which was bound with orange duct tape at different points. Beside the body was a severed right hand, Chihuahua state police said.

According to Channel 44, ABC-7’s news partners in Juarez, there have been 74 homicides in the Juarez area in October and 1,846 homicides so far this year.
