City Council Approves Buying Northpark Mall
El Paso City Council has approved the purchase of Northpark Mall in Northeast El Paso $6 million.
That comes out to $6 a square foot. The city still has to close with the owners, who are a family from Durango Mexico.
City Council will designate the property for private commercial development and could sell the land to developers in the future.
