One person recovering after being rescued from canal
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- One person is in the hospital after being rescued from the canal near the border highway, Wednesday morning.
El Paso Fire says Border Patrol reported that someone was in the water at 1:38 a.m.
Crews responded to the border highway near Yarbrough Dr.
One person was recovered and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
El Paso Fire's 'X' account states the scene was turned over to law enforcement.
