Police Arrest 2 After Woman Dragged By Hair From SUV

The El Paso Police Department said a woman was dragged by her hair from an SUV early Sunday morning on El Paso’s east side.

Police arrested 23-year-old Diana Reyes and 30-year-old Hageo Reyes, both of El Paso, after the incident occurred at 9441 Alameda just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

An officer on duty nearby saw the victim, Elisabet Contreras, approach a Lincoln Navigator in a parking lot. The officer saw Diana grab the victim by the hair and yell to Hageo who was driving the car, “Go go go” and proceeded to drag the victim.

Contreras received only minor injuries.

According to police, the two were stopped a short time later and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
