El Paso Teen Accused Of Possessing Child Pornography
An El Paso teen has been arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography, according to the El Paso Police Department.
Officials said Jose Luis Rojo, 19, was arrested just before noon Tuesday on the 6400 Block of Edgemere Boulevard in east El Paso.
The El Paso Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit, including FBI agents as well as El Paso Police Detectives, are involved in the investigation, which led to Rojo being charged with possession of child pornography as well as possession with an intent to promote child pornography.
According to officials, the investigation revealed that Rojo allegedly shared 19 child pornography files over the Internet. Police say the files showed children, some as young as 5 years old, engaged in sexual conduct.
Rojo was booked into the El Paso County Jail and his bond was set at $25,000.
The investigation is still ongoing.
