Today?s MANHUNT SPECIAL EDITION Most Wanted Fugitive is a subject wanted for a shooting that took place over the weekend 04-30-11 in Anthony, TX. The target is identified as DAVID AMAYA (28) of El Paso, TX.
APRIL 2011 ANTHONY, TX – Late Saturday night 04-30-11 at 10:30 PM, the Anthony Texas Police Department responded to a shooting at the Circle K convenience store located at 601 S. Main St. Anthony, TX. El Paso County Sheriff?s Office Criminal Investigation Crimes Against Person Section was summoned to the scene via request by the Anthony Texas Police Department. Sheriff?s Office Investigators report that on said date & time, JOSE REYMUNDO JR. (24) of Anthony N.M. was shot while at the Circle K Store located at 601 S. Main St. – REYMUNDO JR. was transported to a local area hospital where he is listed as critical but stable condition.
Sheriff?s Office Criminal Investigations Crimes Against Persons have identified the suspect who is responsible for the shooting.
DAVID AMAYA (28) is now wanted for the offense of AGGRAVATED ASSAULT W/ A DEADLY WEAPON with a bond has been set at $200.00.00.
AMAYA knows he is wanted & is now on the run eluding capture. He is believed to remain in the Borderland & is known to have several contacts in the El Paso, TX / Southern New Mexico area. He may be driving a Gray Mercury Grand Marquis with 20? rims.
