Man, 22, Shot; Police Looking For Suspect

El Paso Police are investigating a shooting on the eastside that left a man injured.

According to police investigators, officers responded to the 11400 block of Lake Ozarks at about 3:17 on Sunday morning and found a 22-year-old black man injured. The victim had been shot several times and was taken to an area hospital.

His injuries are expected to be non-life threatening.

The Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating the shooting. So far, they have not arrested anyone.

Police officials ask that anyone with information, call them at 915-832-4400 or to remain anonymous call TIP 411 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477. Investigators have not released the victim’s name.
